Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the students perceptions towards English Facebook status made by English Language Education Study Program Sintuwu Maroso University students. This research was a descriptive qualitative method. This research is conducted from April until May 2020. Source of data was Eight semester students' of English Language Education Study Program in Sintuwu Maroso University. In collecting the data, researcher use observation, interview and documentation, The Teclmique of analysis the data was qualitative data analysis. The findings of the research were 1) The students like writing status on Facebook using English. 2) Writing status on Facebook using English is interesting. 3) There are benefits in writing status on Facebook using English. 4) Writing status on Facebook impact in learning English. 5) Reading the status in English is interesting. The conclusion is the students have positive perception toward English Facebook status made by English Language Education Study Program of Sintuwu Maroso University students.
