The aim of this research are to describe the teaching and learning process and its result by using Collaborative Learning Method to the Eight Grade Students of SMPN 1 Poso Kota Selatan. This researcher uses theory from Davidson and Major (2014). This research is a qualitative one, and the design is descriptive qualitative that uses all of the students of this class as the sample. The data were collected through classroom observation,interview, test and documentation. The result shows that the students are interested in learning English using this method. They are able to communicate with friends in the class, also to help friends in learning English.
