Abstract

This study aims to describe the affective assessment process of students in learning English. This research is a descriptive qualitative. Qualitative methods tend to analyze data and explain descriptively. Data collection procedurs were by interviewing 3 teachers, the principal and 3 students and collecting documentation to obtain relevant data. The results showed that the teacher carried out planned and effective affective assessments in the learning process. This shows that all English teachers apply affective assessment based on the curriculum. The conclusion of this research is that the affective assessment process of students at SMPN 2 Poso Kota conducted by all English teachers has been implemented well.
